Weather research

Most people apparently do not distinguish between weather and climate.
The weather research deals with development, transfer and the prediction of individual weather elements (the determination of a low pressure area or a hurricane).
The climate research is interested in the totality of the areas and hurricanes. The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) defines climate as the statistics of weather over a long time period.
The weather research describes the physical state of the atmosphere in a given time in a particular place.
